Description
As the Finance Project Analyst/Manager, you will work across multiple projects with in the programme and operations in a support role to the Project Managers. Your role will include cost analysis, budget updating, reviewing contracts, invoicing, financial reports and various other tasks.
The successful candidate should have proven experience across the following responsibilities.
- Partnering with Programme and Operational Management ensuring the accurate recording of actual and forecast revenue work units. This is include preparation of routine forecasts, projects budgets and longer term forecasts.
- Providing financial & commercial partnership to programme and operational milestone reviews, challenging programme management and operations on project deliverables.
- Preparation of financial and management reports, including trend analysis, budget versus forecast, cash flow forecasting and overall reviewing and analysing financial data and performance, to agreed timetables.
- Identifying "Out of Scope" work and ensuring correct action taken through the Change Order Process.
- Liaison with operations functions on new contracts/addendums to existing contracts and billing matters.
- Identify financial problems and expedite their resolution, through consultation with other finance teams or through delegation.
- PMO management experience is also desirable.
As an individual you should have excellent communication skills, demonstrating your ability to liaise with individuals of all levels, including senior stakeholders. Due to the level of reporting in this role, candidates must possess excellent documentation skills, strengthened by a strong IT background with packages such as Excel, Powerpoint, sharepoint and wider MS Office skills.
