Senior Data Architect - KOREAN SPEAKING IS A MUST
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Will have (jointly/individually) have overall responsibility for the strategy and execution of a major data quality evaluation and enterprise data hub design project in the health insurance sector. Must have relevant industry experience and a track record in leading data quality evaluation and data hub design initiatives. Expertise in creating a semantically rigorous conformed canonical model bridging several enterprise data models is critical to this task. Should ideally have experience with MarkLogic as well as other NoSQL data bases in addition to very strong experience with RDBMS based data architectures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the development and execution of the data quality evaluation strategy
- Lead the creation of a semantically rigorous conformed canonical model bridging several enterprise data models.
- Lead the creation of a design blueprint and rigorous costed build plan for an Enterprise Data Hub
- Must have hands on skills in data discovery and data quality assessment (using SQL and other tools) ideally in a health care context.
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Candidate must be authoritative with great listening and diplomatic skills,
- Well organized and analytical,
- Great at both leading and working in a team environment
- Able to manage the planning and control of a critical agile project within the context of a fast moving highly interdependent agile programme,
- Experience with enterprise integration tools and extract, transformation and load (ETL) tools
- Experience with SAS and/or other statistical tools for data quality assessment
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Willingness to work onsite at the client in Korea working with Korean speaking stakeholders and project participants.
- Ability to understand the business requirements and converting them into solution designs
