Description
Candidate Responsibilities:- Responsible for creating, maintaining and publishing reuse and salvage processes.
- Will be tasked to develop new/refine existing component repair processes according to dealer, industry group and engineering business partner near-term and strategic needs.
Typical Day:
- Working alongside a team of development engineers to develop and deliver all service support for the full production line.
Technical Skills:
- Strong PC skills, MS Windows, especially MS Excel Strong understanding of Service Information System (SIS)
- Solid understanding of engineering practices: print reading, product structure and engineering change processes
- Knowledge of media authoring systems, including ACM
Desired:
- Green Belt Experience
- 4 year degree in mechanical engineering or other technical discipline
- 3+ years of component repair experience
- Metal restoration background, including welding and metal fabrication
- Multiple years of technical representative with thorough understanding of metal wear principles and failure modes.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills as well as strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (written and oral)
- Ability to cooperate with others
- Good interpersonal skills
