Description

Candidate Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for creating, maintaining and publishing reuse and salvage processes.
  • Will be tasked to develop new/refine existing component repair processes according to dealer, industry group and engineering business partner near-term and strategic needs.

Typical Day:
  • Working alongside a team of development engineers to develop and deliver all service support for the full production line.
SKILLS:

Technical Skills:
  • Strong PC skills, MS Windows, especially MS Excel Strong understanding of Service Information System (SIS)
  • Solid understanding of engineering practices: print reading, product structure and engineering change processes
  • Knowledge of media authoring systems, including ACM

Desired:
  • Green Belt Experience
  • 4 year degree in mechanical engineering or other technical discipline
  • 3+ years of component repair experience
  • Metal restoration background, including welding and metal fabrication
  • Multiple years of technical representative with thorough understanding of metal wear principles and failure modes.

Soft Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills as well as strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral)
  • Ability to cooperate with others
  • Good interpersonal skills
