IBM Portal Developer - Migration Project - Edinburgh
IBM Portal Developer - BAU - Scotland
Rate: £450 - £535/day
Duration: 6 months (Possible extension)
Start Date: 5th January 2016 (willing to wait a 4 notice period for the right candidates)
Organisation:
This is a large organisation that is based to the West of Edinburgh and they also have offices around the world. The Scotland office is easily accessible by car and the company have a large amount of parking spaces on site. This site also benefits from shuttle busses that run free of charge from the nearest train station.
Key Skills:
This position is for an IBM Portal Developer working on the migration project of Portal version 6 to version 8.5.
It would be useful to have the following skills but not essential.
- Migration experience
- Exposure to J2EE or Spring V4
- Excellent communications
- Experience of working within an agile environment
Essential Skills:
- IBM Portal v6 or above
- Portlets
- Wiring
- Java
