Front End Software Developer - £40,000-£50,000 + Comprehensive Benefits PackageGreat opportunity to join this financial services company at time when they are experiencing massive success. Due to winning over 20 new contracts in 2015 the company is in a position where they need to expand their development team in order to keep up with business and maintain continued growth throughout 2016 and beyond.
The modern, open plan offices are located in central Southampton. Here the company culture is very important and my client is looking for passionate developers who can come in and take pride in their work and really make their mark. Your views and opinions are important and we are looking for someone to can not only develop, but get involved in forward thinking, problem solving and challenging existing concepts and systems.
Working in this fast moving technology business undergoing rapid growth you will have responsibility for the front end development within the companies applications, focusing on single page applications consuming API data and displaying it for employees and HR administrators on use across desktop, tablets and mobile phones.
You role will include adding improved functionality and proving enhancements for new version releases. You will take an active role in the scrum team; an excellent opportunity for you to experience the advantages of this methodology first hand. You will have create input from start to finish and gain fantastic experience of the full software lifecycle alongside developing your skills in other areas.
What you will need.....
- Able to demonstrate knowledge of Javascript,
- Angular
- jQuery
- HTML5
- CSS3
- SQL
- LESS or other pre processor
- SPA development

- Understanding of Agile Methodologies
