Front End Web developer £40,000-£45,000 + Excellent BenefitsYou will be working with a small dynamic team to develop the next iteration of Class for the web. You will be using your superior visual, user interface, and interaction design skills to create clean designs, based on the latest technologies that engage our target users.
As a Front End Web Developer, strong Front End and JavaScript skills are required and experience in responsive sites is essential. As a Front End Web Developer you will be working on converting the existing desktop Class application to a web application using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript libraries and templates ideally JavaScript and using the ASP.NET Razor Markup. If you have worked in ASP.Net environments this experience would be beneficial as Web Developer MVC Dev skills are also highly relevant.
Main Responsibilities/duties:
- Convert with our existing desktop application to be a responsive web application and to optimise our user experience.
- Coordinate the efforts of stakeholders to ensure that information is delivered according to deadlines.
- Actively manage any design issues and risks and report progress and concerns to Line Manager.
- Produce web pages to provide to the development team
- Ensure that design and development standards are observed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Essential
- HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap.
- Javascript
- Familiarity with web standards and experience developing for multiple browsers and platforms.
- Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to work independently or within a team.
- Maintaining high quality output whilst meeting deadlines.
Bonus if you have any of the following:
- Angular or similar framework
- TypeScript
- Kendo UI controls
- Agile processes.
- Visual and UX/UI design experience.
