Description
Roc Search's client are looking to recruit an experienced Embedded firmware developer to join their skilled engineering team. The successful candidate will be a key player delivering character device drivers for projects built around high-speed FPGA based packet capture and processing bespoke hardware.
Main Duties:
- Develop and deliver character device drivers to fulfil a defined set of requirements
- Work alongside hardware development teams
- Champion best practices in software engineering
Key Skills & Experience:
- Essential
o Minimum 8-10 years commercial C/C++ development experience
o Character device driver development experience
o Full life cycle exposure
o Linux/Unix development
o Experience working with coding standards and guidance
- Desirable
o NIC (Network Interface Card) driver development experience
o BSD driver development experience
o Windows driver development experience
