Description
Our client, a global defence and Aerospace company is looking for a Software Engineer for a 6 month contract to be based in Wimborne.
Required Skills:
Proven experience (circa 5 years) within an Embedded Software Development role using C (preferably MISRA C).
Good working knowledge and understanding of DO-178B (or similar safety-critical standard).
RTOS experience: ATI Nucleus, VxWorks
As a Software Engineer you will be working on a number of long-term programmes, Ensuring that the Software design can be implemented using the Project Technologies as defined in the Project Plans.
Key Deliverable:
Producing Class-level software design.
Creating and maintaining Class-level design artefacts.
Ensuring requirements are met by the design.
Ensuring that the software design can be implemented using the project's technologies (language, platform, etc.) as defined by the Project Procedures.
Creating prototypes to validate design decisions.
