Middleware Administrator, Weblogic, Alicante
THE ROLE
We require a Deployment Technician with Spanish & English language skills to work within our client's Operations Infrastructure Service in Alicante, with good experience of Oracle Weblogic and Linux admin. You will be working in an International environment on the Spanish coast with good long term opportunity. Initial contract 6 months, renewable, starting ASAP. Shifts ; availability for On-Call 1 week/month.
SKILLS
3 years experience:
- Oracle Weblogic administration
- Linux (Red Hat - Suse) administration
TASKS
- Assess and analyze new release components. Ensure setup, maintenance and documentation of applications deployment in all technical environments.
- Middleware Administration, management and support of development, test, preproduction and production environments, new software releases deployment and new releases validation.
- Administrate and support of all Core Business applications, eBusiness applications, and Business support applications.
- Carry out the builds and first technical tests (such as sanity checks) in coordination with testers and component specialists.
- Resolution of all incidents, requests and planned changes.
- Analyze data and statistics to identify trends, and deviations in performance targets
- Maintain operating documentation and procedures.
- Actively managing the CMDB.
- Record activity in the tool (Remedy)
- Use the standard processes of incidents and problem management.
- Collaborate with other teams (development/testing) in order to get best quality release components.
LANGUAGES
- English: Intermediate 2, B2 of the CEF Common European Framework
- Spanish: good
Laptop and mobile required.
