Description
Group Reporting Manager - 6 month contract - £400 per day.
Financial services company are currently recruiting for a qualified Group Planning Manager to
manage the process for the preparation of all Management & Board Reporting for the Group.
This includes the management of month end activities, preparation of Board slides and ownership of balance sheet & cashflow accounting.
Responsibilities:
Management of the month end process, Executive and Board reporting
Responsibility over reporting timetables, communications and reviews
To work closely with Finance Business partners on monthly results
To prepare Board and Exec Team presentations that are able to convey key messages in concise and accurate manner
To develop monthly reporting outputs that are forward looking, insightful and accurate
Ownership of Group Balance Sheet and Cashflow forecasting
Review and submit Shareholder returns to external counterparties
Working closely with the Group Planning manager to ensure Reporting and Planning process align and are compatible with each other
Ad-hoc financial projects as required
Essential skills:
Previous Management Reporting experience
Strong technical accounting skills
Good Excel and data analysis skills
Excellent presentation skills and a high level of attention to detail
Ability to work to and meet/drive tight deadlines
Min 3 years PQE (Qualified Accountant)
Desirable
Good knowledge of planning & reporting systems (company uses Infor CPM)
Knowledge of Oracle
