Hi,
We are doing a redesign of our website: www.vayaadventures.com We are a seller of high end custom private travel to South America. This job would start in the next 30 days and last for a couple months on a freelance basis. We have a website development company that will be managing the process of building the site out and helping strategize about placement of specific content, images, calls to action, etc., but I need a high quality graphic web designer who can take our ideas and basic formats for our new web pages and turn them into something really compelling and beautiful. We compete at the high end of the market, doing custom, private travel to South America. We are looking for a standard of design that is high, at the level of sites like http://www.butterfield.com/ (Butterfield & Robinson), http://absolutetravel.com/ (Absolute Travel), and other high end companies. We aren't striving to convey purely luxury, though our trips are definitely high end (not generally SUPER luxury), we want to convey more a sense of the experience and the places and what make them interesting and authentic as opposed to just conveying "high end." So it's a balance of refinement and authenticity, focused on South America, that we are looking for. We don't have a specific payscale in mind, it would depend on the person's abilities/resume/efficiency.
