Senior Business Intelligence Developer with exceptional skills and experience in the Microsoft BI stack (SSAS, SSIS, SQL Server, T-SQL) and with experience & interest in Big Data is needed to work on an initial 6 months' contract based in Slough.
The successful Senior Business Intelligence Developer will be responsible for developing BI solutions, including data warehouses and cubes, incorporating SSIS, SSAS and T-SQL (stored procedures ect) as well as supporting the existing client environments.
Part of the challenge will be sourcing and loading huge data volumes from multiple sources such as Hadoop & DB2/Teradata infrastructure and supporting the delivery of intelligence through Tableau.
The Senior Business Intelligence Developer will help to define the strategy, design the solutions and able to manage a junior developer to execute as well as being able to deliver yourself.
The Senior Business Intelligence Developer will have experience with the following skills:
* Extensive experience in developing Business Intelligence applications
* MS SQL server up to and including 2012
* Advanced dimensional modelling skills for high volume data marts - Kimball Methodology
* SSAS
* MDX
* ETL & SSIS
* T-SQL
* Agile
* Exposure to BI reporting / analysis tools (preferably Tableau)
