Oracle SQL & PL/SQL developerJob Description
Part of a small team of Networking/IT experts responsible for the network monitoring systems and network data extraction.
You will be involved in the development of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL scripts to migrate data into the new inventory system from the current network inventory and extracted from the network.
This is a critical project with high visibility.
Profile
• You have very good SQL and PL/SQL skills on Oracle 10 and 11
• You have experience with large scale data migration projects
• You have experience working in a Linux environment (as an end-user)
• Experience with Redgate Source Control for Oracle is a plus
• Experience with telecom (e.g. SDH, WDM, Voice, SS7) and IP networks concepts is a plus
• Experience with a scripting language: Python, Perl or shell is a plus
• You are "Best practices"-minded (naming conventions, code comments, standard design patterns, ...)
• You have good technical writing skills to write short technical documentation (e.g. on Wiki) for the performed developments so the other team members can understand them in the future
• You are fluent in English
