Context Summary
In order to address this important commercial pressure and to deliver new services, faster and better, The client has entered a 'digital strategy' program which allows for branding and selling in the insurance market over modern subscribe and buy channels new 'multi-kernel' insurance policies.
Offering such new or re-engineered services requires a strong hold of security, in order to protect the company assets, and certainly to offer secure, versatile and easy access to applications and information to our clients and partners, whichever channel they use.
This digital transformation is supported by strong risk and security programs. Within those, the control of identities, and management of accesses has to be paramount. The Identity Governance & Administration initiative aims to establish an enterprise security framework to define, implement and deploy a set of protective controls as architectural components that enable, secure and provide tangible benefits to business projects.
Function Description
The IAM consultant/architect will reinforce the security team in reaching its IAM objectives for the client's major project along the digital transformation.
He/She assists the IAM lead architect in accelerating the evaluation, selection, and deployment of the company critical IAM functions for the new environment application development.
Security & IAM Skills & Experience
Medior or senior profile as architect/consultant in IAM with five (5) or more years of experience in one of the areas of focus (see below).
Advanced knowledge of all-round Identity Management processes and techniques.
Relevant experience in implementing IAM projects (IM and AM areas).
Knowledge of Access Management processes and techniques, specifically web access management, authentication management, authorization, federation.
Theoretical knowledge of several access control models and relevant experience in implementing some of them (please specify).
Knowledge of governance and compliance paradigms, from the regulatory to operational aspects.
Understanding of information security standards and practices, some experience in implementing an IAM framework in alignment to an enterprise security requirements.
Position Skills
Experience in writing analysis, architecture and technical documents.
Experience in writing requests for information / proposals given various types of objectives.
Flow Chart and Processes understanding and mastering.
Experience in evaluation, testing and selecting IAM tools (please specify).
Advanced experience in balancing project requirements against other program/projects lifecycle.
Cross validation of IAM requirements against needs.
Ability to create and maintain relevant documentation as required.
Ability to overlook implementation projects from a technical perspective.
Some project management skills preferable.
Technical and Practical Knowledge
Strong Technical/ Technological Understanding / knowledge of modern IT ecosystems: network, systems, applications, databases, cloud.
Advanced knowledge of IAM related standards (please specify).
Broad IAM leading vendors' platforms knowledge demonstrated in several projects.
Knowledge of Service Oriented Architectures (major views, security governance), experience with one leading vendor.
Knowledge of Mainframe security frameworks (please specify).
Ability to assess opportunities, risks and benefits of assessed technology solutions.
