Project Manager - Alternative Investments SoftwareProject Manager required to joining a growing financial software company, whose key focus is around the sale, implementation & support of Alternative Investments software.
This is a new role which has been created due to a rise in software sales leading to an increase in the number of ongoing and future implementations.
As the Project Manager you will take on full responsibility for a small number of software implementations, and therefore take responsibility for the project team in a matrix management style (5 - 6 people on an implementation team) on site at the client.
As well as managing the implementation and team, you will be responsible for delivering the software in time and to budget where feasibly possible. As such, the ideal candidate will come with experience in structured project management and be able to implement a framework for which to deliver large projects within.
In order to be considered you must have at least 5 of the following 6 attributes:
- 8 - 10 yrs plus experience running software implementation projects
- Excellent personnel and communication skills with staff at all levels up to the CEO and CTO.
- Full Software lifecycle experience from Project Inception through Delivery, Testing and Project Completion.
- Proven track record of bringing in projects on budget and within expected timeframes
- Experience of line management / matrix management of up to a team of 5 + individuals
- 5 yrs plus Experience in Financial Services or in software development / implementation for a software provider to the Financial Services industry. This could come from either working in Alternative Investments or another Alternative Investments focused software organisation.Salary: 60-75k base plus package depending on experience Key skills: Alternative Investments, Alternative Investments software, financial services, software implementation, project management, project manager
