Oracle BI Developer contract - FinanceRole: Oracle BI Developer
Duration: 6 months daily rate contract
Rate: DOE

A leading financial company are looking to add a Senior Oracle BI Developer to their project team for a 6 month contract with a high possibility for extension beyond this. The role is part of a large Oracle upgrade taking part throughout their international office, there are already several Oracle contractors onsite and this project is expected to last for the whole of 2016.
Sr. Oracle BI Developer
- Design, build and support the complete BI solution
- Design and develop BI Metadata Repository and identify areas of improved development.
- Determine pre-requisites for aggregate tables.
- Design logical and multi-dimensional data models.
- Design and backing up OBIEE security model with integration with EBS R12
- Design and build OBIEE user interface objects (e.g. reports, analytics, ad-hoc queries, dashboards, etc.).
- Provide day to day production support of DWH using ODI.
- Evaluate existing logic for performance tuning and find areas to optimise within the BI environment.
- Maintain BI Server metadata repository / services (physical layer, business layer, presentation layer, custom reports and subject areas).
- Build bespoke ETL code using ODI as per standards.
- Develop Dashboards/Reports that are Dynamic & Interactive with intuitive drilldowns and drill-across using the most up to date features of 11g and 12c.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, engineering or related area;
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in working with Oracle BI
* Skills with ODI, BI publisher, PL/SQL, XML, building dashboards, Oracle reports
* Data warehouse design experience
* Experience in migrating legacy applications to an Oracle system is beneficial
* Detail oriented with strong problem solving skills plus communication;
* Experience with Agile/Scrum very desirable.
* Knowledge and Experience of standards and practices in the Finance industry
