Salesforce.com Development Lead/Technical Architect - Contract
We are looking for a Salesforce.com Technical Architect to lead the design and development efforts of a world leader in online advertising and E-commerce Group's centralised Salesforce platform.
The project is to create a centralised platform from approx. 15 geographic trading platforms. Salesforce is used to drive business flows.
In this position, you will play a key role as the Subject Matter Expert (SME), architectural designer, and development manager for Salesforce.com and related applications where you will be designing and implementing an advanced Salesforce solution that will support multiple organizations.
As a Salesforce Architect/Development Manager you will carry these skills :
Skills Required
- Experience working within both Agile and Waterfall solution delivery methods
- Proven experience working with both business and technology teams to design and deliver best-in-class solutions
- Must have significant hands-on experience in Salesforce related technologies including Salesforce, APEX, VisualForce, Workflows, Integration/EAI technologies.
- Expert knowledge of Salesforce API's and hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using SOAP and/or RESTful
- Expertise in Datamodelling, data migration, and both API and User Interface development principles
- Knowledge of Source Control and Deployment methods in Salesforce
Skills Desired
- Experience with Automated Testing systems
- Experience managing offshore development teams
In this role you will:
- Understand business requirements and translate these into technical solutions
- Design and create the underlying data structure and data flows to support the application build
- Design and build web & mobile interfaces on the force .com platform using Visualforce, Apex and other available tools
- Undertake R&D and prototyping activities which could benefit the business
- Strong problem solving skills. Ability to research and understand undocumented setup and application design
- Demonstrated experience of unit, integration, and end-to-end system testing and performance tuning of application
- Expertise in Datamodelling, data migration, and both API and User Interface development principles
- Knowledge of Source Control and Deployment
- Provide development specifications and support team of developers in delivering solutions
- Lead daily scrums; work with program manager on issues, timelines, and priorities
