Description
Next Ventures is urgently looking for an Informatica Consultant with for a role based in Lyon, France. This is an English speaking role but any languages such as French or Spanish would be beneficial.
Scope:
Responsible for developing Mappings, Workflows, and processes in the Informatica/Oracle/UNIX environment:
- Responsible for updating the ETL design documentation, Source-to-Target spreadsheets, and Software design Specifications for all Business Areas.
- Responsible for creating Test plan and Test scripts
- Responsible for unit and integration testing.
- Responsible developing and maintaining the test results
- Responsible for schedule and status reporting
- Responsible for maintenance and enhancement of ETL Mappings, Work-flows, Stored Procedures and processes for all Business areas.
Skills required:
- 3-4 years experience in Informatica PowerCenter 8/9
- Strong knowledge in informatica Real Time edition (webservices)
- Strong knowledge in informatica Suite and Best Practices (Velocity)
- Good background in Linux Scripting and databases
- Understand the source system, capture and document business rules
- Source system data analysis and audit and documentation
- Pro-active, focused on objectives
- Fluent on English
- Available to travel 10% of time (European countries)
- Nice to have other European language (Spanish, French...)
