Job Description:- The candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining our state-of-the-art "Macrosense" Data Management Platform (DMP), as well as other "big data" systems to support digital advertising business
Mandatory Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years software development experience
- B.S. degree in Computer Science or related discipline (MS is a plus)
- Strong coding skills in Java, SQL, and related technologies
- Experience with "Big Data" and distributed computing technologies like Hadoop, HDFS, Spark, Cassandra, etc
- Strong computer science knowledge/background
- Proficiency working in a Unix/Linux environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate and work with both technical and non-technical team members
- Must have a problem-solving mindset with an extreme attention to detail
- Must have strong conceptual and analytic skills
- Working in a virtual/cloud computing environment (eg, Amazon EC2, Rackspace, Slicehost, Linode, etc.)
- Any experience in the Ad Tech field, Programming with location-based (geospatial/spatiotemporal) data
- Background in statistics and/or machine learning
- Working on an agile team (eg, Scrum), Equipment
