Description
Job Summary- Serve as project manager for management consulting and information technology engagements for state and local entities.
- Additionally, responsible for supporting pre-sales activities including proposal development, presentations and other business development functions.
- This individual will not only be expected to perform at a high level in regards to their technical abilities, but should have the necessary skills to help develop other staff that may be new to the firm or the government practice.
- In addition to serving clients and staff development, this individual will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing client relationships.
Qualifications
- Governmental management consulting and/or information technology consulting experience for state and local governments required; experience working with or for Indiana state and/or local government agencies preferred.
- Consulting services in this area require a strong government background, analytical skills, presentation skills and project management capabilities. Quick learner, possess good communication skills, able to work alone with little supervision and lead and manage effectively the work of teams, able to meet deadlines, have a strong client service orientation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Candidate should have the ability to interact with clients, prospects, all levels of staff, and colleagues in a professional fashion.
- Experience working in the government consulting sector preferred.
- High comfort level and capacity to learn new technology.
- Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 5 years of government experience
