Contract 2D CAD Engineer 3months + Contract - Up to £35 per hour

An opportunity for a 2D CAD Engineer has arisen to work for a well-established manufacturing organisation based in Hertfordshire.
This position will be responsible for the planning, design and engineering of both capital and non- capital projects in support of manufacturing facilities. Responsibilities include maintaining the scope, schedule and budget for all assigned projects and ensuring client, H, S &E and quality objectives are met
Skills/Environment
*Understanding of Production, Maintenance, Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental and Administration practices and procedures
*Interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
*Prepare mechanical and electrical drawings and have a working knowledge of general machine design standards.
*Prepare conceptual layout drawings, elevations and general arrangement drawings
*Preparation of drawings for planning permission and Building Control desirable.
*AutoCad LT required.
*Solidworks 2013 desirable.
