Role:
This position will support my clients project and development teams through the application of functional knowledge of Oracle E-business Suite R12 for GL, FA, AP and FAH. Coordinate with Finance SMEs and Finance business process owners to document requirements, develop functional specifications that support new functionalities and have the ability to translate the functionality into application configuration driven solutions in Oracle EBS R12

Key Responsibilities:
Analyze user requirements associated with ongoing application enhancements in the Finance Systems area, specific to Oracle EBS Financials R12 (GL, AP, FA and FAH)
Analyze existing RICEW objects in R12 and identify opportunities where Release 12 standard out of the box functionality could be leveraged
Work with both Technical and Functional teams on the impact analysis of change requests to determine the impact on the Oracle EBS environment
Perform configuration updates to support change requests
Write business requirements, functional requirements and solution design documents for Finance enhancements or modifications
Prepare functional solution design document
Facilitate and document testing strategies and participate in all phases of the testing cycles including deployment, upgrade and post-upgrade activities
Provide subject matter expertise on functionality and capabilities of the Oracle AP, FA, GL and FAH
Participate in architectural and design reviews of major projects
Update and maintain solution design documentation and module specific Configuration documents
Participate in design workshops and on occasions lead design workshops with Finance SMEs and Finance business process owners.

R12 for GL, FA, AP, FAH, Oracle EBS Suite & Insurance

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Minimum 5 years' experience working with the Oracle EBS suite
Multiple full life cycle implementation experience in the Oracle EBS modules (GL, FAH, AP, FA) is critical
Experience implementing Oracle FAH is strongly desired as majority of our Enhancements involve Oracle FAH in some form or the other. Experience in Oracle Cash Management or Treasury is a plus
Knowledge of R12 Sub Ledger Accounting is required
Working knowledge of Oracle EBS Technical skills around PL/SQL, Oracle Workflow is a plus
Insurance industry and Property and Casualty experience is a plus.
