Maxegan are currently searching for 2 EDH Developers with Hadoop and Pentaho skills to work in Telford, starting ASAP for an initial 12 month contract.
The best fit EDH Developers require the following skills:
- Hadoop
- Pentaho PDI
- Pentaho BA
- SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Informatica, Business Objects
- Unix, Unix Shell Scripting
- Knowledge and experience of the Scrum Framework
- Jira and Confluence
Ideally, for this EDH Developer position you would also have knowledge of:
- Analytics and Big Data
- Full knowledge of the development life cycle
- Business Intelligence
- Warehouse Design
- Datamodelling
- Awareness of Risk, Change and Problem Management
- Awareness of Configuration Management
Within these EDH Developer roles, you will be:
- Focusing on migrating BI solutions from Oracle (Informatica, BO) to Hadoop (Pentaho PDI, Pentaho BA)
- Working within a Scrum Development team, being involved in development of new products and maintenance of existing products
Due to the nature of the end client SC Clearance, or the ability to obtain it is vital.
