Description

Day-to-day

- Work with other team members and independently and groups to implement and support network designs, solutions and policies as per requirements .

- Support the client internal application groups by implementing their network-impacting requirements as designated by Architects.

- Support and implement the growing network infrastructure

- Participate in daily operations managing break/fix, enhancement requests, and outages via a trouble ticketing system.

- Support Network Operations projects by providing implementation and documentation support to Sr. Network Engineers and Architects.

- Ability to work independently and self-directed.

- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities under direction.

In order to be considered for the role of the CCIE Network Engineer you will need skills and experience in the following:

- Experience in a network focussed role with a solid background working with a broad range of networking technology is essential

- You will have designed, built and implemented network setup as well as supported complex setups

- Demonstrable experience managing server and storage platforms

- Experience with Cisco to at least CCNP level, preferably CCIE

- Any experience working with Juniper, Brocade and Sonicwall would be ideal

- Detailed exposure to multiple protocols such as OSPF, BIP, RIP

- Excellent communication skills are essential
