2nd Line Desktop Support- Wakefield- £30,000-£35,000

An excellent new opportunity for an experienced 2nd Line Support Technician to join a growing organisation in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

Working alongside the IT Service Desk team across the UK, you will be resolving 2nd Line request, in addition to making sure customer satisfaction is of the highest priority.

The responsibilities of this role include but is not limited to:
  • Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents.
  • Recording and updating document request using IT Service Desk System.
  • Utilising strong Windows desktop and Mac OS skills.
  • Participate in the annual review process.
  • Communicating effectively with technical and non-technical users.


You should have at least 3 years experience within an IT Support role and be able to demonstrate abilities with Windows 7, Mac OS, Microsoft Outlook, Lync, Anti-virus software and be able to set up portable devices (mobile phones/tablets and printers/scanners).

Customer focus is of the highest importance for this role and it is necessary for the successful Support Technician to be able to deal in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
