Web Designer (Responsive Web Design, CSS, SASS, HTML5) required for a Large Travel & Leisure company in Newcastle. An exciting opportunity for a passionate individual who is eager for a new challenge. As Web Designer (Responsive Web Design, CSS, SASS, HTML5) you will be amalgamating existing websites from both sides of my client's recent merger.
Role/Responsibilities
- Insert and create graphical design and flare into the websites
- Ability to design front end web sites and back end content management systems
Essential skills
To be considered for the role of Web Designer (Responsive Web Design, CSS, SASS, HTML5) you must have:
- Responsive Web design
- Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator
- HTML5 / CSS3 / Less / Twitter Bootstrap
- SASS
Desirable skills
- Previous experience working within the Travel Industry
- Previous experience working within an E-commerce Environment
- Worked within a company during the time of a merger
The ideal Web Designer (Responsive Web Design, CSS, SASS, HTML5) must be able to hit the ground running and be able to work in faced paced working environment. Also, the suitable Web Designer should be able to liaise with the Web Developer and work as a team when required, the suitable candidate must possess good communication skills, confident in collecting user requirements from any level of the business.
Contract length: 3 months with a view to an extension
