Description

1 year contract with possible extensions or right to hire for an IT Infrastructure Analyst with expertise working with Software AG's WebMethods.

The IT Infrastructure Analyst, specializing in SoftwareAG's webMethods platform, will serve as a member of the Managed Services team (SOA Competency Center within the Information Management Architecture (IMA) Center of Excellence).

The Managed Services team is responsible for the strategic planning, technical architecture delivery and support of the enterprise integration infrastructure comprised of Software AG webMethods suite of applications and tools.

This is a highly technical role that requires demonstrated experience in v8 & v9 webMethods infrastructure design and configuration.

This individual will also work closely with application development deploy and support resources, as the Managed Services team is the first line of support for development tools, best practices and procedures pertaining to the integration platform. Experience with webMethods versions 8.2 and 9.8 will require full support.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- 24x7 support of all webMethods environments, includes non-Production and Production
- Establish, maintain, optimize system health checks for enterprise system status communication
- Support the resolution of problems and incidents with webMethods. Leverage vendor relationship and ticketing process to troubleshoot and resolve in an expedited manner.

- Represent webMethods infrastructure as required according to enterprise IT change management process
- Support/troubleshoot application development webMethods code deployments
- Troubleshoot/consult/code review on webMethods Flow language constructs and best practices in support of developer community
- Support and maintain database connectivity, Middleware interoperability, storage & O/S management

Local candidates preferred. Must be able to work w-2 hourly.
