Senior Systems Database Administrator - Contract - The Haag, NL.We are currently looking for a Senior Systems Database Administrator to start ASAP on a Contract basis for my client based in The Haag, NL.
Job Description:
- The installation, configuration and maintenance of multiple DBMS environments
- Proactive monitoring of all databases
- Backup, recovery and housekeeping tasks
- Incident, capacity and performance management for both production and development environments and databases
- Disaster Recovery
Must Have Skills
- 4-year Computer Science Degree or equivalent work experience
- 7 years' experience as a Systems DBA with DB2/LUW including: installation, configuration, maintenance, patching and upgrade of databases
- significant hands on experience with DB2/LUW 9.7 and up databases
- logical and physical database design
- backup, recovery and housekeeping
The following technical skills are desirable:
Familiarity with BMC Remedy and Database Automation
Experience with in-depth performance monitoring toolsets
