I recruit for Contract Mechanical Design in the North of England.A 6 month contract opportunity for either a Mechanical Design Engineer or Mechanical Draughtsman has arisen within a client based in Hull.
The company: A well established SPM Manufacturer who work within multiple industries including Food and FMCG have recently won a new project. They are a small team of two Design Engineers.
The role: Due to the small nature of the team they are either looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work on the new project from concept to completion, or an experienced Draughtsman who will assist the current team with detailing across multiple projects.
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of conveyor design within the food industry
- Use of either Solidworks or Inventor
- Design from concept (for the Mechanical Design Engineer)
- Detail draughting and Bills of Materials (for the Draughtsman)
The offer: The contract on offer is a minimum 6 month contract with strong possibility to be extended due to the growing nature of the business. The rate is competitive, and based on a 40-50 hour week.
