Unit test, Integration test, Firmware, C/C++, QAI am currently seeking 4x test engineers to work for a key client of mine on a portfolio of projects they are currently working on. You will be tasked with the unit and integration testing of low level firmware.

Job Type: Contract
Location: Oxfordshire
Rate: £35 - £43 p/h
Duration: 3 months (initial)
Start Date: January
Job Role: To create & execute unit and integration tests for current projects. Working closely with the developers to ensure that the new features have been tested adequately.
Very strong initiative and ability to cope with very high levels of uncertainty and risks (implementation and timescales). Expected to demonstrate excellent communication, providing high quality technical knowledge with strong innovation skills.
Technical experience to include:
- Experience of working on large projects with tight timescales.
- Experience working on projects that span across multi-sites
- Wide range of experience of multiple software development lifecycles with detailed
knowledge of key software development & Test tools.
- Advanced coding in C/C++
- Strong understanding of operating systems and hardware
- Strong experience in software development & test.
- Ability to estimate task duration.
- Detailed knowledge of QA procedures and proven implementation of the procedures.
- Use of Development tools such as Bug Tracking and Source Control
- Experience in Visual Studio
- Experience in Off Target testing
- Scripting, for use in Test Automation
