JAVA Developer
Hey you!, yes to all you JAVA developers out there. We are looking for enthusiastic developers ready for their next challenge. You will help with the development of a communications platform that will be internally used by a large international company. To achieve this massive undertaking you will join a team of colleagues and together with them you will strive towards the best results possible!
Some of your daily activities will entail
- Performing code reviews and providing guidance/assistance to colleagues in need
- Solving complex programs and execute them in a clean and well documented way
- Work with your development lead, other developers, product managers, QA, and operation teams to develop solutions that meet the service requirements and deliver good performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Implement a complex, distributed and highly available communication service as part of a high performing team.
Some of the necessary skills involved
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) on computer science or a related field. (relevant experience is sufficient as well after sufficient proof).
- Senior experience in in requirements analysis, design, coding and unit testing of scalable, distributed, fault-tolerant applications for the Internet.
- Must have very strong Java skills and skills in Spring and experience in developing highly available services.
- Preferably experienced using Cassandra, Riak, MIME Messages, REST, XML, JSON, Linux, Elastic Search, Maven, JIRA, and Git.
- Must have working knowledge of HTTP, SMTP, web Servers, Mail Servers, application Servers, SQL, and relational databases, push messaging, SMS, XMPP or related.
