Senior CRM & Customer Manager - Executive Level

An Executive level Senior CRM & Customer Manager is required for a high profile Client within the South West that operates within Financial Services. The role is to lead the CRM, Customer Engagement and Data Management activity which would ensure delivery to agreed KPI and TCF outcomes which are also fully compliant with existing legislation/regulation.

This is a 3-6 month contract vacancy and will pay up to £800 per day.

Accountabilities

  • Responsible for the data analysis, targeting and execution of marketing and customer activities while also sharing accountability for performance and management of media for the business.
  • This will cover direct mail, prompts to employees and customers through the Internet portal and mobile, email marketing, pro-active telephone contacts, inserts, SMS and push notifications.
  • Line management of a minimum of 30 reports across three specialist areas -overseeing their work and professional development.
  • Management of and technical expertise required in best practice targeting, analytics, data management, customer relationship management systems.
  • Gaining agreement to the contact and CRM plans with key stakeholders.
  • Agree plans for test and learn activity, in order to improve performance and scenarios to optimal return on investment.
  • Responsible for the governance and use of data for Marketing, ensuring there are appropriate controls as part of an overall framework.
  • Accountable for developing and enhancing the marketing operating model to increase efficiency.
  • Responsible for ensuring marketing have the technical platform to support its dynamic, robust and agile testing, personalisation and integrated marketing and customer contact strategies.
  • Responsible for the implementation of direct marketing policies across the business and ensuring processes and practices and compliant and efficient.

Essential and Desirable Skills:

  • Significant data and CRM marketing experience within an environment that has an end customer base of 1m+ - Ideal industries include finance, retail, energy or telecommunications.
  • Must have previous experience managing at least 25 direct reports.
  • Budget management - experience effectively managing a marketing budget exceeding £3m pa.
  • An excellent communicator who can also own and develop key supplier relationships.
