My Leading financial services client is looking for a senior DI Studio Developer As the Lead Developer you will be responsible for the design and development of a solutions to meet complex business and system requirements in support of a major regulatory programme.Reporting into the Senior Development Manager, you will be driving forward activity to meet challenging goals and will be working across Business, Technical and Operational teams
London Based
£450 - £500 Daily rate
3 month rolling contract
Immediate start date ( will consider candidates available in the next 4-6 weeks)
* Produce Solution Designs for Risk Data on a SPDS platform to agreed standards and methodology in support of Business objectives * Develop data solution including data marts using SPDS to an agreed specification and timeline * Engage with Business stakeholders to shape solution and address Business challenges * Support and mentor onshore and offshore colleagues on development best practices
Experienced required
- Preferably 5 years of SAS experience (SAS DI Studio)
- Demonstrate good understanding of complex business requirements and ability to create business ready, and compliant solutions in SAS
- Great communication and engagement skills, verbal and written. Ability to clearly articulate the data architecture and processes, conveying technically challenging concepts to Business stakeholders
- Team player with good understanding of working with a multi-site and offshore team
- Shows well-developed interpersonal, communication and influencing skills, particularly the ability to convey key business information arising from complex data issues to non-technical people
- Good business acumen with the technical expertise to optimise and automate business processes.
- Experience of financial product data, especially Credit Risk would be beneficial.
ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS * SAS version 9.2 or above * SAS integrated technologies i.e. DI Studio, SAS Management Console. * Unix AIX * Experience of the Finance industry, especially Credit Risk.
