Embedded/Software/Imaging/C/C++/System Architecture/DSP/Algorithms/Embedded Systems
I am representing a client who has a 12 month contract that was originally a permanent role but they are now looking at a contractor to be based in Dublin. They are a company with a lot of European backing and have a new and exciting product they are needing engineers to work on.
Required skills/experience:
- 10+ years commercial experience delivering Embedded C/C++ projects
- Proven leader in System Architectural Design and Embedded System Integration
- Advanced knowledge of multi-core processing architectures, GPU, VLIW, SIMD processors
- Good understanding of processor operation at instruction/register level
- Experience in Partitioning Algorithms and data flows for multi-core processing
- Experience implementing and optimizing Image Processing, Computer Vision, or DSP Algorithms
- Domain knowledge in at least one of these fields: Graphics, or Digital Signal Processors
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with Android Operating System
- Fair understanding of Hardware Design issues
- Experience with Embedded Linux and/or Multithreading RTOS (eg RTEMs, eCos, freeRTOS)
- Experience in high level computer languages such as OpenCL, Halide, RenderScript, OpenGL
The rate for this role is 50 -52 Euros an hour and they are looking to get interviews lined up this week.
