Description
We are currently searching for a Functional Application Engineer to work in Amsterdam, The Netherlands for 1 year plus extensions. This is a fantastic contract opportunity for a large financial client.
As a functional Application Engineer you will be responsible for an adequate, functional and stable IT environment for customers and employees of the bank. You will carry out the full control of the various IT adaptations in the chain with various internal and external stakeholders. You will ensure the quality and continuity of the delivered IT business services by preventing or resolving incidents and problems in the availability and performance. You analyze the end-to-end IT business services, projects and changes within your area of interest and prevents or solves problems and incidents.
The ideal candidate must have the following skills;
- You are responsible for follow-up and communication to users of incident, problem and change processes, including contacts with vendors and monitor RCA (Root Cause Analysis), delivery and SIP (Service Improvement Point).
- You assess management and improvement proposals from vendors and supply chain partners and enter it after making out.
- You give advice for delivering a go/no-go behalf Run IT organization.
- You manage vendors in functional, applicative and technical management for business-critical? IT Business Services in own chain (eg. Payments system).
- You assess cost estimates from vendors and provides advice to next higher purpose of the implementation of activities.
- You train users with regard to existing and new functionalities.
