Financial Controller - Bristol - MOD - SC Cleared 6 months £300 per day
Undertake review and challenge of project budgets and forecasts within the monthly accounting timetable and time frames to ensure accurate financial information is presented.
Undertake financial assurance of proposed investment decisions.
Ensure financial information provided to managers is robust to enable them to make informed decisions.
Double Entry Journals, book keeping and reconciliation to balance sheets.
General Ledger, Oracle and Financial Systems inc. PB&F input.
High level of IT skills (excel to intermediate level as a minimum).
Full membership of CCAB accounting institutes, CIMA or recognised equivalent and compliance with Continuing Professional Development requirement of their professional accountancy body
Lead Monthly project forecasts meetings with the operating centre Monthly postings to ensure the correct financial information on system Financial assurance of investment proposals to standard turn around times
Must have Current SC and have worked in Defense previously or currently, ideally through a Managed Service Provider.
