Job Title: ETL/Data Warehousing Specialist
Location: Malta
Daily Rate: €500 - €550 per day
Length of contract: 6 months
Description:
My client are a successful gaming and gambling company based in Malta. They are looking for someone who has solid ETL/Data Warehousing Experience and has knowledge with working on the data visualization side. The purpose for the dashboards will be to summarize the data propagation/data quality across the entire flow, from the game provider to the Data Warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- 5+ years Data Warehouse/Data Integration experience.
- Experience with data visualization development (dashboards)
- Solid knowledge of Data Warehouse modelling. Experience with both transaction databases and data warehouses. Prior experience working with a large database.
- Strong SQL skills, and hands on experience with one of the mainstream data integration products such as: Microsoft SSIS, Oracle ODI, Warehouse Builder, SAP Data Services, Informatica PowerCenter, IBM DataStage.
- Hands on experience with one of the busiest platforms (mainly semantic layer) such as: MicroStrategy, Oracle BI, SAP, Business Objects, IBM Cognos, Tableau, Alteryx.
Preferable but not essential:
- Experience with columnar databases is preferable.
- Exposure to Amazon Redshift, Tableau Online, or other cloud based BI/DW solution would be advantageous .
- Knowledge of Scripting languages and understanding of big data would be considered an asset.
- Looking for a hands on candidate with an analyic mindset.
- Previous Project Manager experience would be considered an asset.
