A unique opportunity has arisen for a Software Team Lead to join a well established company in the development of a range of consumer and enterprise based products. As the new Software Team Lead you will guide their Firmware / Embedded software team throughout the product lifecycle.
You will be responsible for all embedded software product development and support in the UK, driving project development and negotiating firmware scope for the development project and for providing firmware input into gate reviews.
You will also be involved in chaired backlog estimation meetings, sprint planning meetings, daily standups and sprint reviews/retrospectives.
The ideal candidate will have a number of years experience managing a team of Firmware / Embedded Software Engineers within a complex R&D environment.
An understanding of architectures would be advantageous.
