Responsibilities
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
- Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
- Integrate data from various Back End services and databases
- Create and maintain software documentation
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
Required Skills
- Strong computer science fundamental concepts like object orientation, modularity, testability, exception handling and writing scalable, flexible and maintainable code.
- HTML - Ability to create complex, responsive and interactive UIs using HTML5
- CSS - Ability to use CSS3 to make modern cross-browser designs
- Javascript - Ability to write modular, clear, object-oriented code and clear understanding of:
- asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
- browser rendering behavior and performance
- proficiency in jQuery
- Excellent debugging skills
- knowledge of AngularJS and MVVM pattern is desirable
- T-SQL
- Clear understanding of RDBMS fundamentals
- Ability to write stored procedures, CTEs, Cursors, Triggers, Joins and complex queries
- Performance tuning experience reading explain plans is desirable
- Clear understanding of code versioning and software development processes
Desired Skills
- Adobe ColdFusion 11
- Basic Querying and page logic processing
- RESTful web services
- File IO operations like PDF creation, image compression, file read/write.
