On behalf of one of our clients, an international financial institution, located in Cork/Ireland, we are searching for external support with skills and abilities as stated below:
Senior OpenEdge Developer (f/m)
Business Area:
The team is responsible for development and maintenance of Software systems that provides to end-to-end order routing, post trading and transfers.
The task is to ensure the client's remains undisputed leader in Investment fund services for Mutual funds and Complex alternative funds.
Tasks/responsibilities
- Development, design and maintenance of the Custody & Brokerage application
- Must have 5 years of OE 4GL experience in industrial projects. Must be proficient with OE 11.
- Must have proven track record of 4GL development using OE Application Server.
- Experience with Web Speed will be an added advantage.
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision and should process very good communication and analytical skills.
Qualifications/required skills:
- University degree or equivalent in a computer based discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Progress OpenEdge 4GL, Progress OE WebSpeed & Progress App Server working on large project.
The candidate also must have a work permit to work in Ireland.
Assignment:
Start Date: January-February 2016.
Location: Cork
