To make it short, we’re “uberizing” a $40bn industry!We’re facing rapid growth in 110 countries and are now hiring a talented Web/Ruby developer to strengthen our team and keep releasing amazing features that will make our clients super happy.
Your position:
You will join an ambitious development team to help build an amazing online platform while striving to improve your skills. As part of TextMaster’s core development team, you will work on extending and building exciting new features. Most of our code is homemade, so you will have the chance to work on every aspect of a very large and successful online product.
We are looking for highly motivated developers that have extensive experience in Rails and additional interest/skills in either Angular JS or React front end development.
The position requires a lot of attention to detail and a strong technical expertise. You’ll join a team of very talented developers working in an amazing atmosphere and a very multi-cultural environment. The position is open to full time remote developers (preferably based in Europe) or to employees in our Belgian office (Brussels).
Technical environment:
- Back-end: Ruby on Rails (Rails 4.x)
- Front-end: Angular JS, React, HAML, SCSS, Coffee Script, HTML 5, CSS 3, JQuery, Ajax, etc.
- Database: MongoDB, Elastic Search, Redis
- Infrastructure: Heroku, AWS, Docker
Other (we use state of the art products and processes):
- Testing (TDD): Rspec, Capybara, Selenium
- Source control: github.com
- Continuous integration and deployment: Semaphore
- Code review: Code Climate
- Monitoring: Newrelic
- Etc.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of similar work experience
- Perfect command of English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Invoicing structure and proper registration if working remotely or valid work permit in Belgium
- Available full time
