JAVA, J2EE, SPRING Senior Developer is required for a 6 month contract based in Chester for a brand new client facing greenfield project which will involve consolidating 6 portals to improve the overall external and internal access to data.JAVA DEVELOPER

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Greenfield global financial project to help consolidating 6 portals to improve user experience for their end client being global leading banks and financial companies. The correct candidate must have an abundance of experience working face to face with end client as this role is very customer facing reporting straight to Global IT Managers.
Your technical expertise will include:
*JAVA Frameworks (Java7, J2EE, Servlets, JSP, Spring) *Strong knowledge of user interface languages: HTML, JAVA SCRIPT, CSS, JQUERY, JGRID *A good knowledge of SQL and Oracle (as a desirable) Databases *Must have worked to an Agile or SILC methodology previously *Must have previous experience working in a very client facing role *A knowledge or exposure to Big data tools preferably: Greenplum
Desirable skills: *Familiarity with Lucene
