Description

We are supporting a Global Renewable Energy client in the search for a Construction Supervisor for an offshore wind farm project. The Construction Supervisor will be required to review design and construction drawings, monitor and record the quality of the works according to the clients/designer requirements and take part in inspections, FAT,SAT's etc. Also compile records and provide accurate records of daily work activities and inspections, review final documentation and quality assurance of As-built documentation and drawings including review of traceability of records. Will be required to actively contribute and continually evaluate the project and capture lessons learned.
Our client is looking for the Construction Supervisor to be able to commence a 24 month freelance contract from 15 February 2015 or ASAP therafter. Hours of will be approx. 10 hours per day, 5 days a week (Monday to Friday).

Qualification:
  • Relevant technical education, ideally a degree in civil or electrical engineering or a highly experienced quality engineer with a proven track record for quality supervision at electrical substations build
  • Ability to handle tasks with an inquisitive approach and thrive on working in a constantly changing international environment
  • Strong personal drive and a robust sense of quality and professionalism
  • Must have a proactive approach and result orientated approach and be prepared to work intensely during busy periods
  • Must have strong communication skills, fluent in written and spoken English
  • The candidate should also hold a valid CSCS card or similar, or be prepared to obtain
Special Provisions:

The Consultant must bring his/her own PC with MS Office 2007 software and mobile telephone
