Description
The SAP BW-IP consultant would be focused on designing and developing SAP Financial Planning. The SAP BW-IP consultant would require strong Finance functional area background, BI Integrated Planning, FOX Code, Allocations Optimization, Enhancements and continuous improvements, application of SAP ASAP methodologies and ABAP skills.
Responsibilities will include:
* Architect and deliver the SAP BW-IP based actuals allocations engine
* Review the requirements, design and develop Real Time Info cubes, Multi-providers, aggregation levels, filters, planning functions, planning sequences, Input ready queries and variables
* Design and develop complex FOX code as relevant to allocation requirements.
* Design and develop process chains for any IP Planning functions/Sequences/Data loads
* Understand the finance allocation process using the Integrated Planning engine and tuning the allocation process to reduce the unassigned allocations
* Performance tuning of the allocation and the other BW Back End process
* Provide estimates of work required to implement solutions, continuous improvements and enhancements
* Analyze code and patches and fixes as provided by software vendors.
* Be able to create and maintain documentation on provided solutions in forms of Business Process Procedures, Technical specifications, Unit/Integration Test Scripting and required change control documentation.
* Ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, sector CoE's and global support teams.
Qualification
* 5-10 Years' experience with SAP BI with strong BI-IP experience
* Strong implementation experience fo SAP BW-IP and been through the go-live
* Must have experience in Integrated Planning tool - development of Real Time Info cubes, Multiproviders, aggregation levels, filters, planning functions, planning sequences, Input ready queries and variables
* Must have hands on experience writing complex FOX code in IP
* Must be able to build process chains for any IP Planning functions/Sequences/Data loads
* Experience in designing and maintenance of BW objects - Data source, DSO, Cube design and DTPs
* Experience of Front End tools Web Application Designer, Query Designer, BEx analyser
* Experience in ABAP - User Exits, understanding BADI's and routines in BW/IP.
