Description
For the European Commission, Ordina is seeking a Oracle Architect to participate in the analysis and development of a EU specific project. His/her main tasks will be related to the development and documentation of the DB as support for the persistence of business process development.KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE REQUIRED
Minimum 12 years total IT experience (after Bachelor/Master)
Minimum 6 years' experience in architecture and design of information systems;
Minimum 9 years' experience in development of information systems;
Minimum 2 years' experience with UML or CASE tools;
Experience in Service Bus Architecture;
Experience with relational databases;
Experience in web technologies.
Language & Protocols
In-depth knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture;
In depth knowledge of applications design;
In depth knowledge of modelling tools;
Good knowledge of Object Oriented Programming languages;
Good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture;
Good knowledge of Relational DBMS;
Good knowledge of business process analysis;
Good knowledge of interoperability technology (e.g. web services, message oriented middleware, service oriented bus);
Good redaction skills;
Ability to give technical presentations;
Ability to apply high quality standards;
Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application architecture and design;
Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, good communication skills;
Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team;
Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. RUP, AGILE) is an asset.
Specific expertise:
Minimum 6 years cumulated specific expertise in:
- Minimum of 36 months knowledge and experience in Oracle ADF, Oracle BPM, Oracle SOA and in J2EE is required.
- Minimum a total of 3 years in one or more of the following areas: UML, SOA, JEE, web 2.0, a business process modelling tool, a DBMS or specific design or architectural tool.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in one or more of the following: RDBMS (Oracle 11g/12c, SQL), DB languages (PL/SQL).
PROVISIONAL DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK
Architecture and design of information systems;
Review of the architecture of existing systems;
Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture;
Production of software architecture documents;
Design and development of component architecture and building blocks;
Analysis and development of the integration of different information systems and technological components
Data analysis and data modelling;
Analysis of requirements given by the business analysts and translation into DB structures to implement the requirements;
Develop, maintain and test software that reflects the specifications, especially the part of DB management as support for the development of BPM processes;
Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users;
Assistance in the testing, the technical documentation, the deployment, the evaluation and the reporting;
Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system;
Analysis and implementation of user requirements and change requests;
Participation and follow-up meetings with team members (team leader; tester; project manager, release manager);
Development and maintenance of software applications;
Prototyping;
Bug fixing;
