Description
We are currently searching for more operations engineer WebSphere for a contract job opportunity in Amsterdam, THE Netherlands. This is a contract opportunity for at least 6 months + possibility to extend.
The team
You will be part of a team from eight persons (devops engineers, operations engineers, .net c sharp developers).
You will be responsible for the operation of a mission-critical, interactive, international, web-application. The application is built in Java and runs on WebSphere & Linux and uses an Oracle Database. You'll join a team that consists of 8 engineers and operates in a Scrum & DevOps environment. Our organization focuses on Continuous Delivery and Continuous Improvement and values craftsmanship.
Your profile
- Min 3. Years experience as a operations engineer
- Working experience with Linux
- Working experience with oracle
- Working experience with WebSphere (prefers WebSphere 7 or 8.5 version)
- Experience with ITIL processes
- Monitoring and alerting
- Scripting experience (pre is Shell Scripting)
- Be aware that you can be 24x7 stand-by (once every 8 weeks).
