Description
My client is currently looking to recruit a 'Functional Analyst & Project Manager' on a 12 months contract based in Brussels.
Location: Belgium, Brussels
Rate: 350 to 400 Euros per day
Contract length: 12 months
Start date: Immediate
Key responsibilities:
* Perform the role of functional analyst as well as Project Manager
* Planning and monitoring cost and scope of projects
* Reports on progress
* Communicates with the various stakeholders
* Define, analyze and document requirements (both functional and non-functional)
* Responsible for the (functional) configuration packages or informing the software engineers to build/customize the system
* Draws up test scenarios, test carries ...
* Operational support to the core users in acceptance testing and deployment of IT systems (eg role of contact for functional questions.)
Key Skills/Knowledge:
- Possess a financial background
- Have a master degree in economics or finance
- Have knowledge in billing services
- Know and understand the world of the end user
- communicate well and knows how to convince others through commitment, assertiveness and accessibility
- Think analytically and distinguish detail of essence
- Customer-oriented
- Open to innovation and know how to give ideas
- Solve problems paying attention to simplicity and efficiency in the process
- Team player but can also work independently
- Trilingual (NL/FR/EN)
Experience required:
* Has at least 5 years' experience as functional analyst
* Has minimum 2 years' experience as a project manager
* Experience in converting business requirements into functional documents.
* Experience working closely with IT and business during different phases of the project.
