Job Description
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Define and implement the infrastructure for the global expansion of our products and services.
Advanced Linux (Debian / RHEL) & AWS administration and management on a day to day basis
Expansion of AWS resources into new regions as required
Development / Implementation of Continuous Deployment, Testing, and Building tools for everyday use
Training and coaching other team members
Leading with the design and implementation of Microservices infrastructure
Leading with the design and implementation of an Information Security Management System
Qualifications
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Advanced knowledge of a high level programming language (PHP, Node.js, or Go preferred)
Strong experience of internationalisation and expansion into new territories
Strong knowledge of SQL (MySQL, Postgres)
History of extensive use of AWS in Production (AWS Certification preferred)
Knowledge and experience of using Container-based infrastructure
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Redis and / or Memcached
Unit testing and/or integration testing
NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.)
