Role: Oracle Applications DBA

Duration: 6 months daily rate contract

Rate: DOE

Location: Dublin City Centre

A worldwide leading Insurance company are now looking to add an Oracle Applications DBA as part of the rollout of their new Oracle team in Ireland.

This role will suit someone with interest in being in a large scale project from the foundations. It's a real opportunity to take control of the systems, show off your knowledge and implement your own ideas.

Your Role:

You will be maintaining and supporting Oracle Applications [11i/R12], this means providing technical input and carrying out standard Oracle DBA duties. Part of this job includes designing, developing, testing backup and disaster recovery solutions. Specifically project experience of installing, upgrades, migrations and patch management is favoured. You will also be supporting a team of functional and technical consultants.

Your Skill-set:

3 years+ Oracle Applications DBA experience with 11i/R12

Weblogic, OEM,

Multi-database experience

Desirable:

Oracle certification
