For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for a Visual Designer.
Your work environment
Within the Client a new international project is launched. A small-dedicated team of highly skilled people will develop a new strategic capability for all client's countries. These capabilities will be tested as well with an end-to-end digital customer proposition in a European country with the potential to extend to other countries.
Job description
As a visual designer you work in an all-round team with Development, Operations and Business colleagues to develop an outstanding customer proposition. You will be responsible for the design of the screens and experience for the digital touchpoints.
In this role you are delivering innovative, creative and customer oriented solutions, in order to develop and outstanding customer experience.
We work according to a SCRUM Agile development process towards an MVP and beyond with new releases every month. The level of expertise and experience within the team will be very high which creates a very energetic atmosphere. We don't forget to have some fun while developing the proposition. You will be part of unique journey of setting up a new team and business for the client.
Your profile
Minimal Bachelor Degree in visual design (HBO opleiding)
3 or more years of User Experience front-end development expertise
An impressive ('thoughtful') portfolio
Experience with software like Photoshop, InDesign, Sketch of Sublime Text;
Very specific knowledge and expertise in the following areas: visual design for digital and Mobile design for native Apps (and preferably browser based technology like CSS, HTML and JavaScript as well)
In depth knowledge of and experience with standards and principles in the current digital landscape, like accessibility, security, biometric, etc…
Experienced in SCRUM / Agile and test driven development
Dutch and/or English speaking and writing
Good social and communication skills
Self-starting with an entrepreneurial spirit (or instance, because you once started your own business, worked at a start-up, or because you managed innovation teams within companies).
